Operational for more than 40 years, PBS Coals specializes in a variety of coal mining and processing operations. With a staff of over 130 individuals, the company owns and manages nearly 10 coal mines. Its Cambria Plant rebuilds and upgrades up to 400 raw tons per hour. PBS Coals operates the Shade Creek Plant, which has expertise in several metallurgical coal recovery processes. In addition, the company has on-site screening capabilities. Its clients include Stelco Limited, ArcelorMittal and Wheeling Pittsburg Corporation. PBS Coals is a part of the PBS Group, which annually produces approximately 3 million tons of bituminous coal from its underground and surface operations.
