As a renting tenant with a variety of issues that needed to be addressed, James A Wheat & Sons was a blessing. Matt and John arrived at our apartment and were extremely professional and courteous throughout their entire stay. They took the time to investigate each issue appropriately, and were kind enough to explain their findings to me in detail even though I was not the person that would be financially responsible for payment. Not only were they able to quickly diagnose our individual issues, but they were able to return to their office to pick up the required parts to finish the job within the same day. This added convenience of not having to schedule a follow-up appointment really benefited our schedules, as it's not always easy to take off work to be home for a service appointment. James A. Wheat & Sons was terrific. I had a very small job but they treated me as if I was a major customer. It was easy to get a convenient time and they followed up with a confirmation email and phone call. The plumber arrived exactly on time. I thought he would have to replace the spigot for my garden hose but he told me I just needed to tighten the spigot screw and replace some washers which he did at minimal cost. Then he advised me on how I could fix it myself in the future! I was very impressed with their service, promptness, cost and honesty and will definitely use them in the future!

I was spared expensive and extensive replacements that would have involved cutting through walls and tiles to reach the parts affected by calcium build up, because he figured out a "non-invasive" solution. We've used them for years and find them reliable and honest. We are comfortable enough with them that we let them come into the house even if we are not home. They generally are good about arriving on time, although with plumbing there are obviously times where there are unexpected glitches. They often do little extra touches (like attaching a hose from the washing machine that they noticed was not hooked up right) and clean up well. We'd recommend them.

We were referred by a family over a year ago that has used James A. Wheat and Sons for 14 yrs. We started using the company for our plumbing needs and were pleased. Our heat pump needed to be replaced as well as our water heater so we decided to use James A Wheat and Sons. The salesman explained the different types of heat pumps and was informative. We knew the water heater we wanted. The crew worked for a day and a half to install the two pieces of equipment. They were very professional and explained any questions we might have had. Chris is the technician that comes to our home for our bi-annual service calls and he is always very professional and competent. We have a Carrier Geothermal system with a Carrier oil furnace as backup, plus two Daycon inverter systems (heat pumps). The two year eagle agreement has worked well for us, because Wheat reminds us to service the systems twice a year and perhaps because of the bi-annual services we have not had any major repairs to any of our system. When we installed the systems, Shawn Davis was the installer. Shawn was also very professional, careful and continually updated us on his progress each day, which was extremely helpful. We have and would recommend James A. Wheat to anyone for installation, service and repairs.

As usual, we received excellent service when we needed some help with a leaky humidifier. The work was efficient and well done. Their service is great. I have used James A. Wheat for probably 16 years or more. They come every Spring and Fall to service my air conditioner and furnace. They have replaced my air conditioner twice and my furnace once. The last time, in November, the technician arrived on time, was courteous (as always) and replaced a humidifier pad. I have an Eagle Agreement with them which saves money. I depend on them to keep everything running smoothly and they do just that.
