First United Methodist Church is a provider of traditional worship services. Based in Gilbert, Ariz., the worship services comprise the use of liturgy, classic hymns and lectionary based preaching. Its modern worship services consists of contemporary worship music, multimedia and relevant messages. The music department of the church provides diverse avenues for worshiping, such as traditional choral repertoire and modern Christian worship. In addition, First United Methodist Church operates an Adult ministry that encompasses a variety of activities, including Sunday school classes, weekday studies and travel events.
