Cheerio Adventures, a camp organized by the YMCA Camp Cheerio, provides a range of opportunities for several recreational and entertainment activities. The camp administers a variety of adventure tripping programs for teens and adults between the ages of 10 and 17. It provides opportunities for rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, caving, rafting, backpacking and spelunking. The camp has locations in North Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia and Tennessee. Cheerio Adventures also offers opportunities for sailing, wind surfing, and mountain biking. The camp focuses on the preservation of the natural environment.
