- Dental ExaminationFirst, we’ll review your medical and dental history so we can form a complete picture of your overall health history. We then complete a thorough, comprehensive oral exam that will allow us to see the current state of your oral health, often including x-rays. Lastly, we’ll identify any potential concerns and develop a custom treatment plan to prevent or fix them, or to maintain your current good oral health!
- X-rays
- Teeth Cleaning
- Fluoride TreatmentMy granddaughter has always liked going to the dentist here. This last time, she went in for a cleaning, x-rays and fluoride treatment and obviously got a new technician so she wasn't as pleased as usual. She still wants to continue going there though. I would still recommend the Toothzone to anyone.
- Dental Sealants
- Space MaintainersA lower lingual arch is a space maintainer for the lower teeth. It maintains molar positioning and does not move them. It’s by placing bands on the molars and connecting them to a wire that fits up against the inside of the lower teeth. It keeps the molars from migrating forward and prevents them from blocking off the space of teeth that develop later. This is used when baby teeth are lost early, or when lower teeth are slightly crowded in a growing child and you want to avoid removing any permanent teeth to correct the crowding.
- Fillings
- CrownsWe are not able to schedule emergency exams, orthodontic (braces) appointments, oral surgery (wisdom teeth) consults, or treatment appointments (crowns, extractions, fillings, etc.) through our online scheduling at this time. Please call, text, or email to schedule these.
- Oral SurgerySuper kid friendly, very fun kids area with slides, movies area, coloring, and books. And an adult waiting area with coffee, tea, and homy comfortable couches. Clear and precise on pre and post oral surgery care
- Jaw SurgeryYou may be wondering if it’s really necessary for you to start your child’s orthodontic treatments at such a young age. The truth is, the younger the patient, the more time we have to develop a plan and prevent problems. Orthodontic treatments are best completed on children because their bones are still growing and developing. This means that if the doctor identifies any potential problems with crowding or bite, it can most likely be corrected. Elastics and braces can be used to help the jaw bone grow appropriately and correct skeletal problems, fixing the issues without surgery. Once a child stops growing these problems can only be addressed using jaw surgery. Bringing your child early for orthodontic treatments will ensure items are taken care of and prevent expensive procedures.
- Tooth Extractions
- OrthodonticsAs recommended by the American Association of Orthodontics, children should have an orthodontic evaluation by the age of 7. At this age, dental professionals are already able to see whether there will be any serious bite problems in the future. Most often, treatment is not required at this time but gives the dentist ample time to watch the development of the child and make a plan for the best treatment when the time comes.
- BracesBeautiful smiles are healthy smiles. That’s why at the Toothzone Network, we offer orthodontic treatments and braces in Fort Collins, CO to straighten and enhance the smiles of our patients. Crooked and misaligned teeth can cause dental problems later as they are harder to clean. Our orthodontic professionals work with patients as young as 7, but usually, you won’t have to take action until the child is 12. Bringing your child at a young age gives us time to develop an appropriate treatment plan and detect any severe issues that may hinder treatment. If you think it’s time to discuss your child’s orthodontic needs, call us with any questions or to make an initial appointment for an orthodontic evaluation.
