This is a very busy Labcorp. People walk in without appointments starting 7AM in the morning. There is normally 10 people standing outside the door before 7AM. One has to get an appointment 2 weeks prior, especially if u r fasting and want to get an early-bird test. No point in sitting & starving for more than an hour if u dont have an appt. Even though I had 7:15AM appointment, I was made to wait 20 min and ppl without appointments who came before me were led in, and this was frustrating. Everyone is bilingual there, so maybe if I knew spanish, I cudda coaxed my way in. Parking is not straightforward. if u r coming from Central Ave, take L on American legion Dr and R on Overlook Ave, u'll c a parking garage entrance on Right. It will say Excelsior II Visitor Parking. Go all the way to the 5th floor and park there. Go down rusty iron stairs (Medical Office Suites sign), and open glass door, lab-corp is on right. I cudda given 5 stars, but they seldom pick up the phone to help.

This ofIfice has gotten a lot more efficient lately. I still find it almost impossible to get an appointment for a short time away. The doctors often the results in a day or two. When I am waiting my turn, people who were able to get appoints go ahead of me. If I could call I may have a beter chance. Or should I just make appointments ahead of time just in case the doctor prescribes a blood test? Also, it is very difficult to get into the door with a wheel chair or a baby carraige.
