I have been renting a home from Allied for 3 yrs. now. Everyone in the office are very nice and professional! They are very prompt servicing any problems that have occured. Sheila (Owner) is a very sweet and awesome lady. Hater reviews are probably from people that were evicted!

I would not recommend this Company to anyone. Very unprofessional. Always answer phone on speaker. Property Manager very abrupt and disorganized, had to search her trash for my ph # and couldn't remember if our appt. was a firm time. Very inflexible with being able to show a property. We stopped at a few vacation rentals, very run down and in much need of clean up and repairs. SAD

TERRIBLE. we rented a house from them they do terrible maintenance for example our hot & cold knobs on the shower broke they fixed one side & it broke not even a few days later. The people who manage the office are beyond unorganized sometimes you would have to call 3 or 4 times before you could get answers from them. When we moved out they tried to screw us over bc the actual owner of the house was not happy with them. They also told us we were bad dog owners bc when maintenance men came to do work on our house we crated our two large dogs, i guess they would rather have the dogs in the way and worry about them running out the door. The place also had cockroaches when we moved in, and they said they knew about them.. why wouldn't you mention that to a new renter. Save yourself a lot of headache and find someone else to rent your property out or to rent from. I never want to rent again after this experience.

Husband and I got orders to Norfolk frrom Florida. Typically going through AHRN website produces us very good results and we've met some nice people. This case was not so. First we found a wonderful property to rent on ocean view in norfolk price was good and property was nice. The website stated $995 a month pet deposit and security deposit was listed at not applicable. When we went to see the place Angel the reality agent stated for military the pet deposit and security was waived which coincided with what was said on ahrn. We let her know we'd contact her later in the day as wife wanted to view the last house on our list. We told her before leaving we wanted to get this place and would contact her after last viewing. She went to give us her card for allied brokers but didn't have one or the credit app (she said she took her personal vehicle therefore didn't have her business card or app) so she gave us her own personal pony business card to contact her via her personal cell. So as we stated we went directly to allied. Ended up at there other office. The nice ladies there directed us to the correct office. When we go there it was about 30 Mins before they closed. First they stated sorry we can't help you because we are closing soon and won't have time to run a credit check and they wouldn't help us until Monday. I asked to talk to Angel directly as she was who I had did the viewing with. They said she wasn't available. They took my application. I wanted to really get this place and was ready to give the 995 firstmonths rent as was stated by Angel. First thing they said was we need 995$ first month 500 security and 250 for pet. I was at this point getting a bit upset. I asked them why as I was told by angel those were to be waved. They wouldn't let me speak to the agent I viewed the property to then they wanted to chargeme more than what I was. Told ineeded to pay and they were very rude about it. After leaving there office I contacted AHRN directly and told them my experience. Turns out they tried to be slick and change the two listings they had posted there as to hide the fact what they had listed prior. Not only were they rude and false advertised there property, there customer service was shady and overall just the worst expierence I've had dealing with a reality company

Slum lords is the way to describe this company.They were the worst experience I have ever had. Choose anyone else to rent from. They have some tempting properties. You will regret it. Spend a holiday without a fully working home because they either won't fix things or they will take their sweet time(months). We have left our home many times to come home to the smell of a heavy smoker(allergic to cigerate smoke) or to clean mud track throw our home when we weren't there.We paid on time. We're good tenants according to them and everyone we every rented from. I could list for days problems from me or other rent. It just bad all-around if I could put not stars I would.Trust me live in a box first.

If you need a professional and competent property management company to actively manage your property, I don’t recommend this one. I do recommend this one if you need an outfit that will likely find poor quality tenants, only inspect your property when asked and won’t do it well, make constant mistakes and rarely take ownership, and is mostly motivated to put money in their pockets—not yours. Don't make same mistake I made.

They are extremely rude whenever you call them with a question or ask about repairs. The property manager Angel Ireland is also a liar when it comes to what you are signing so be careful. All in all I would highly recommend you avoid their little crap house of an office and their rude staff, it's obvious they only care about money and themselves.

The absolute worst! It's like pulling teeth trying to communicate with them. Repairs take forever to be completed. I do not recommend this company for your property management needs.

The people in the office are great exspecially Elizabeth Paiva she a a great person inside and out... She cares a lot about her tenents and her properties. I would recommand this company to anyone that wants to rent a home and a lot of the properties are right there on the beach with is great because you do not have to drive to the beach you coould just walk.
