Their chicken fried steak used to be the best ever,however now it's just cooked too long ? Almost burnt

Worst service ever!! Will NEVER go back!! We have went to Harrah Steakhouse many times before and never received service like this. When we were seated the wait staff had a hard time figuring out who was going to wait on us. After we placed our order it took forever for our food to come out, we were about to just walk out. When she brought out the food she couldn't tell what what what she had to ask another waitress what one was and then take the other back to the kitchen just to find out what the other was. Then she asked me what I had then she told me mine wasn't put in and she would get it put in right away. I told her this was the worst serve we had ever had and we'd never had to wait this long for breakfast. Another waitress came over to apologize for the service and wanted to know if there was anything she could do. I told her I never got my food and it would be nice to just get my food. When she brought my food she said she talked to the manager and they would take some of our bill off. After I finished eating we waited another 10-15 min just for our check. I ended up having to go up to the counter. I'm pretty sure I talked to the manager, I told him about the service. He got the 2nd waitress to give us our check. I told her we also had a to go but if it hadn't been put in we did not want it. She went to check and it was done just never was brought out to us. Then she tells me that they only took $1 off our check. My mom & I have been waitress' and know what should be done if a customer gets horrible service. $1 off is just insulting they should have at least taken my order off since it was the one they messed up on. I paid the check but will NEVER be going back. Any restaurant that doesn't know how to make sure a customer doesn't leave unhappy isn't a place I want to ever go back to.

The food is amazing. They are the only place in town that ALWAYS cooks my steak the way I ask the first time. The staff is amazing. My young daughter had a horrible time at another resturant on her birthday. I called the Harrah steak house and told them what had happened and if they would sing to her. They went far beond the call of duty to make her feel special and did sing to her. It is our "birthday" resturant forever now.



If you like amazing food at a great price and a staff that is wonderful, you need to eat at this steak house.
