We purchased a mattress set from the company that KRON recommended as having universally low prices, NATIONAL MATTRESS CLEARANCE CENTER in San Leandro (recently moved to Hayward). Unlike most retailers, they don't haggle over prices. We got a Cal King Simmons Beautyrest pillow top set for $1200. Searching on the net I found 2 or 3 more model names that look identical for around $3-4K.



National was a real calss act. Though a discount retailer, they went above and beyond my expectations. Very helpful in the purchasing process. We were considering a set that cost $3000 and there was absolutely no pressure to go with the cheaper one. (Mattress preferences are personal and the cheaper model just felt better to us)Delivery was something like $50. They were ontime and very courteous. My wife wanted to regular mattress frame, but after setting it up, we decided it made the mattress top way too high. I took it back to the store to exchange the frame for the low-profile one and they didn't charge me the difference.

I'm on a budget so I would settle with so so quality but voila, with their reasonable prices I got the top of the line. Now I wake up with no back problems and had a very good night sleep.
