I received very fast and excellent service from Ballos Precision Machine shop. They are very pleasant and helpful. I dont know market prices for machining parts, but they made it easy for me to drop the cash for their services.

Ballos could not pay me to work on anything we have. They have devalued a nice 63 Corvette because they did not pay attention to what they were doing. They have admitted to the mistake but refuse to make right. Find anyone else but them or learn to build your own motor before letting them touch anything. They have repeatedly mislead, not return phone calls and just generally stuck their heads in the sand instead of doing the right thing. This is one of the worst machine shops I have ever seen. Everyone makes mistakes, what is important is how you fix them, they do not believe in fixing theirs.

Just picked up the 2nd Opel motor I have had done by Ballos in the last 3 years. Couldn't ask for a better job, and quick turn around. Know he has done other Opel motors and heads over the years as well. I would trust them on anything.

I have taken all of my machine work to Stuart for many years now. I trust them to give me a good quality job at a fair price. That is hard to find these days .

I just completed my first rebuild of an antique tractor. Ballos Precision Machine not only did an outstanding job on the machine work but Stewart also was an excellent source for information when I was not sure if I was doing things correctly. When I had needed a bushing pressed that I had not planned on, he worked it into his schedule promptly. I was treated with respect at all times and feel they run their business very professionally. I had a great experience with this organization. I would recommend them to a friend and I plan to use them again in the future.

I needed my dual mass flywheel machined as soon as possible. I walked in, and was able to get my flywheel back within four hours. It was perfect. They also did some machining to clearance an aftermarket clutch disk that I was using.

Excellent attention to detail. Ballos Precision Machine fixed my $800 turbo manifold. I bought a head for my SR20DET that came with a "port matched" turbo manifold. I say "port matched" because although it was another machine shop 'port matched' the manifold, it was a mess! My friend Clyde recommended Ballos Precision and they totally fixed it. Now my header is perfectly matched (with Precision) and I've got Ballos Precision Machine to thank. I can also thank Ballos with planing that same head that's putting down 436 whp. Thanks Ballos!

These guys are Great.!!! I had an OEM Flywheel that I wanted Lightened. It weighed 17 lbs. 3 oz..I took it to a shop in south Richmond and they turned it down to 15 lbs. but the Part looked like it had been chewed on. The Chatter marks were that bad. Turns out they used a Brake Lathe to machine the part. I took the Flywheel to Ballos and told them I wanted it as Light as possible and still be Safe. They reduced the weight to 12 lbs. 13 oz. The Part looked like a Jewel. And I have had no problems after 20k miles. I recommend this shop. - Richard
