The year was 1953 and the place was Richmond, Virginia. Jack and Gloria Weiner opened their tiny shoe shop with nothing more than a few dollars and a dream. Today, Saxon Shoes is owned by that very same family and has grown to become the largest full-service shoe store in Virginia. How did they do it?
