Founded in 1948, Eastern Suffolk BOCES provides a vast array of programs and services to component school districts and adult students. Its bilingual technical assistance center provides technical assistance and services, including program planning and implementation, applying for federal and state funds, information about laws and regulations, staff development courses and curriculum development. Eastern Suffolk BOCES s adult education program offers comprehensive programs and provides complete educational opportunities and support services. Eastern Suffolk s Bellport Academic Center serves special education students from grades nine through 12. Its distance learning center provides videoconferencing services to assists district in ongoing management and is located in Patchogue, N.Y.
