I would strongly CAUTION everyone against bringing their pet here. I called this morning to get my dog groomed. The staff person that answered the phone stated to bring my dog in anytime before 10 am. I brought him in around 9:30 am. I called Groomingdales around 6:00 pm because I had not heard anything from them. They stated that they were running behind and would call me when my dog was ready. I asked if they were going to feed my dog because he had been there for an extensive amount of time and not had any food. They stated that they only take them out for water and potty and I was welcome to bring food if I'd like. I ended the call assuming that it would be no more than another hour or so when I would receive a call back that my dog was ready to be picked up. Please understand my extreme frustration when they called at 8:30 pm stating that my dog was ready for pickup. The groomer yelled from the back that I should be understanding. I asked her to come speak with him. She never came to the front area to speak with me, instead they called the owner. The owner came in the front door. He asked the staff person in the purple smock to come to speak with me and she directly refused to him. I then went on to express my concern about the timeline as well as not being informed of the long wait and a desire to bring food for my dog if there was such a significant wait. He then became upset stating that they "don't give a timeline" and that "it is posted everywhere". I reiterated that no one explained that to me. I also explained that I would be leaving a review to express to my concern. He stated that he "will delete reviews" and was "not concerned". He then stated that I needed to leave. I turned to leave and he then said "and I love you too". He and his staff members that were at the front desk with him began laughing at his comment. Choose another groomer that actually has some level of professionalism and an inkling of humanity and respect for other human beings.
Love Chantale and Martha, the groomers at Groomingdales Spaw. They take such good care of my dog. I have a Maltese and she always comes home happy and so pretty.
Poor! My poor dog, butcher hair cut, razor burns all over his head! I use Groomdales for 10 years! I paid $50.00. Never again !!!!!!!!
They were terrible! Every time I took my dog in for a shampoo and nail clipping, they would cut my dog and his paws were bleeding! My dog didn't even smell like he had a bath. Management was argumentative and customer service was terrible!
What a delightful place. The staff is friendly and their love and care of all of the animals just shines. I could not find a better place to groom or board my dogs. Thanks Chantale and Group.!
I have gotten my dogs' nails clipped and filed a few times. They are always fast and do a good job at a very low price. I was always letting my dogs' nails grow too long before getting them clipped due to cost but can now afford to get them done regularly. I also had them bath and groom my long haired dog and they did a great job for a low price but as I didn't have an appointment it took a long time so will get appointments in future.
