For over 6 years, I had a CPA prepare my books, but when the economy started to go the other direction I started to find ways to cut my expenses. Naturally I went to my CPA for advice. To my surprise, my CPA had no clue! All I got was some generalization about the housing market and the BIG banks. I came to the realization that I need a new accountant. I went to the Small Business Development Center and they referred me to a couple of accountants. I interviewed at least 2 other accountants before I came across T-Account. They are actually bookkeepers, but found them very knowledgeable. I was also very pleased to hear that their price was almost half of what my CPA was charging!! Been working with them for 5 months now, and I'm a satisfied client. I get weekly updated books and once a month their bookkeeper explains the numbers to me.
