My family of 5 were going to move into this area, we actually loved the area and the schools there. However when I talked with MIchelle she informed me that when my wife gave her the deposit that it was only good for 60 days. This is something she failed to mention from the get go. When I called her and asked when the 60 days started she could not tell me. I then asked for a receipt for the deposit and she told me that she did not have a receipt of the money. She did admit to me that she received the money but she did not write a receipt or have any transaction of this money at all. In a nut shell her only response to me was go hire a lawyer. She stole this money from me and openly admitted it when she said she took the money from my wife. She would not give it back or even work with me about moving in. As soon as I called her out on her stealing the money she said that me or my wife will never live there. I would not live here at all because of this confrontation with this person. In an honest business most people have receipts for the money transactions. The place looks great from the outside, however management was not honest about things that have taken place.

I'm a single mom with 3 kids and we have lived at Lakewood village for over 2 years and love it. Whenever I've had an issue with the house it's been fixed within a few days of reporting the issue. I think people put negative comments because they've been evicted.

Lived there for 5 years and all of the negative things said about Lakewood Village is absolutely true!!!!......DO NOT MOVE THERE!!!!.....The place has a very bad drug problem and management is complacent with the drug activities. Not to mention, they will not fix ANYTHING. The owners are slumlords and there are many city of Houston violations regarding pool being unsafe and unclean, porches not kept up to code, as well as code violations inside the trailers.......The school system is excellent, but this place is a dump and anyone who has lived in Huffman for any length of time knows the reputation Lakewood Village has as far as the drug activities and just being a very low- class establishment......Almost, let me correct them on their website regarding the "resort style pool". oh my goodness, it is only 4 feet deep (deepest part) and the soothing waterfall cannot be heard because of all the kids which at any given day are 90% unsupervised as management will not enforce the pool rules allowing the parents to sit in their trailers and do drugs and/or drink while other adults at the pool are HAVING to make sure their kids don't drown. The RV and boat storage is NOT a part of Lakewood Village. It is called Lake Houston Marina and has absolutely nothing to do with Lakewood Village. Had to give it at least 1 star in order to post this review, but it certainly is not worth any star!

Poor business and management skills. The neighborhood has a major drug problem and young kids that have destroyed the community pool and park. They will not refund your deposit reguardless how much you clean, they will find a way to keep it or not have to refund your money. I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy. Way too many other places that will back their word up and have much more cleaner facilities.

Awful place, I would not let someone I didn't like live there. The management is unprofessional, rude and lazy. I endured 1 year there and hated it from the first moment. Drugs are ramped and the police are there every night. They will take weeks even month to do standard repairs. We asked them to repair the family room carpet before we moved and and they never did, but they sure billed us for it after we moved out. If you want to live is white trash central than this is the place for you.

As a single parent, I am struggling to pay the bills and rent is very expensive for me. Until recently we had to live with my parents. Now my kids get to live in a safe neighborhood and play with their friends and I can proudly afford the rent and love our home and Bonus! The service dept.fixes things quickly
