Established in 2006, Rosa L. Parks Elementary School is a public school that provides academic services to students in kindergarten through grade six. It supports various special programs, such as English as a Second Language (ESOL), English Language Learners (ELL), Title I Targeted Assistance and extended-day. Rosa L. Parks Elementary School is a part of Prince George's County Public Schools, which is one of the largest school systems in Maryland. The school employs more than 80 full- and part-time staff members, including a media specialist, guidance counselor, classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, special education aides, vocal and instrumental music specialists, technology coordinators, parent liaisons and reading coaches. Rosa L. Parks Elementary School has an annual enrollment of over 650 students and is located in Hyattsville, Md.
