      The Cayuga Heights Fire Department is a full-service public safety agency that works to provide fire suppression, emergency medical and life support rescue services, and public safety education to residents. The department conducts fire safety inspections and station tours, as well as participates in various public events. The Cayuga Heights Fire Department is comprised of captains, rescue operators and fire fighters. Its fleet includes engines, rescue vans, reserve vehicles and trucks. The department maintains a communication center that coordinates responses to fire and medical emergency and nonemergency calls. The Cayuga Heights Fire Department also offers various employment opportunities to citizens. It is located in Ithaca, N.Y.
