Hammer Hall Gaming was established April, 2011. In consideration of the gaming community’s wants and needs, the owners (Chris Bettis, Amanda Dill) decided to find a place to create a game store in Murray Hill.With the absence of War Dogs and Sanctuary and so many gamers hoping for resolution, they decided that it was due time that another game store opened and Murray Hill seemed appropriate to heed that calling. The idea of having a store that is focused around individual relationships, competitive pricing, and a feel of home away from home and not the mistaken dark “dungeon” stereotype that has haunted gaming stores for many years, seemed overdue
