General Info
Founded in 1999 by Jacksonville native Kevin Gay, Operation New Hope was conceived as a model to bring hope to the hopeless. The original goal was to train ex-offenders in the construction trades of building affordable housing. 15 years later, Operation New Hope has maintained a two-pronged business model vital to sustaining broken urban communities the development of affordable housing though its ONH Development program and the successful workforce reintegration of ex-offenders through its nationally recognized Ready4Work Program. Recently, ONH expanded its model to include Breaking the Cycle, a holistic program to help the children of ex-offenders from following in their parents footsteps.
