I took my wife's wedding set there to get the rings attached together so one would not spin on her finger. We were quoted a price that was reasonable. As we were doing the paperwork the lady that gave us the price approached and begin looking at the rings. When she found out the stones were black diamonds she immediately doubled the price. This action made us suspicious and we took the rings and left. I have lived in the area for 40 years and as long as Gold Etc has been there I have never liked doing business with them. They are shady at best.

I had a high quality 14kt Solid Gold Figaro Style bracelet that was 30 years old or older. This bracelet was made out of the old gold that you don't see anymore. I took my bracelet to Golden Etc to get it repaired. Golden Etc said the lobster claw fastener need to be replaced and it would take them 2 days to fix it. Golden Etc called 2 days later and left me a message that my bracelet had been bent, but it was ready. I went to Golden Etc. The bracelet she pulled out of the envelope was bent and not even worth $20.. The bracelet was so cheap it was knotting up as she lifted it up from the counter. The gold was so thin and unreal it would scratch your skin. That was Not my bracelet. I told her that was NOT my bracelet, that bracelet was a piece of crap. She said yes it is. I said no ma'am that is NOT the bracelet that I gave you to repair. She said it was mine, it fit me, and it was the only one they had in the store like it. I told her that it did not matter if the bracelet fit me or not it was Not my bracelet. I guess it took Golden Etc 2 days to to find this cheap imitation bracelet so they could keep my real one. I don't do drama and I did not want to go to jail. So I told her: That was NOT my bracelet. That was Not the bracelet I gave her to repair, but if my bracelet meant that much to her that she had to steal it and take my bracelet from me. God Help Her. I told her that I would be doing a write up on her store to let the community know what kind of business Golden Etc was running. I walked out of the store and I will never go back there again.
