Kane Area Middle School is a learning center that serves students in grades six through eight. The school staff includes guidance counselors, paraprofessionals, technology coordinators and custodians. It operates departments, including reading, English, mathematics, science and social studies. The school curriculum includes Spanish as a foreign language. In addition, it conducts classes in industrial technology, life skills, and family and consumer science. The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as the National Junior Honor Society, newspaper, student council, music, art, orchestra, chorus and physical education. Its athletic division provides sports activities, including wrestling, football and cheerleading. Additionally, Kane Area Middle School offers food and medical care services. The school is a part of the Kane Area School District. It is located in Kane, Pa.
