Excellent Deals and Good Customer Service

I'm sorry to hear that the previous reviewer had a bad experience at Once Upon a Child, but as a mother of 5 children who frequents this store, I have to write a review to balance hers out. I always come to Once Upon a Child first when I am searching for anything and have gotten most of my kids school clothes here for the last couple years. They have excellent deals on clothes, better than the local Goodwill for many things and much better quality. I usually do have to wait in line to check out but that is because people are bringing armloads of things to the register, like myself. I do use their discount card and have filled up a number of them, saving me precious dollars. They also pay cash for your clothes so whenever I have a load to take to Goodwill, I bring the best things there first and see what they will buy from me before I drop it all off at Goodwill. I tell all my friends to try Once Upon a Child. The store is clean and organized, much better than any other child resale shop I've been in.

I went there to show the store to my husband, we picked a few items and when we were ready to check out, the manager was so rude, she looked angry the whole time......she handed us over to be helped by another person then an item was missing a price tag so the manager was called to help then she asked us if we had it, like we would go to an used item store taking prices off the items!!!

Then the clerk helping us offered a discount card for every $10 you spend, I only spent $15 but 2 days ago I spent $80 and she wouldn't honor the discount for that since no one told me.

Some of the items are worth it, but just bad customer service, not sure I want to go back there, even for the discount. I will have to think about it.
