People should know that River Oaks Apartments, although in an excellent location, with rent that is affordable to senior citizens and with good maintenance personnel--is run by a manager that is extremely difficult to deal with. You work AROUND this person, not WITH her. Customer "service" is delivered in a condescending manner, and not everyone looking at apartments or being granted apartments is treated in the same fashion. Every request is met with skepticism and you are talked to like a child. Generally accepted business practices are scoffed at and she is fundamentally unwilling to perform in a manner that encourages people to stay in the apartments. Turnover seems high, although there is no reflection of the "new faces" in the monthly newsletter. Otherwise, the apartments are clean, well-kept, roomy and desirable.
