Upscale Mexican. My friend and I ordered from the vegetarian options. I started with the Ensalada Cesar. It started with grilled Romaine lettuce, which I'd never seen prepared this way before. The dressing was magnificent. I then had the Calabacitas taco, which was light and flavorful. I couldn't pass up the mango flan which was really wonderful. My friend had the Enchiladas de Verduras, which she loved so much, she said she'd order it again. She finished with the churros with two dipping sauces, which were served piping hot and less greasy than most. The Milagro Cantina is a definite improvement over the nearby Cactus, but both are expensive. Our meal totaled $40 without tip. We both had dessert and coffee (very flavorful and better than any other restaurant I've been to recently) and I had an appetizer. Lunch time was not crowded, and we weren't rushed by the staff, although our server kept popping in to check on us, perhaps a bit too often. Can't wait to come back with my hubby.
