Engineered Plastics is a custom-plastic, injection-molding company headquartered in Lake City, Pa. Founded in 1978, the company specializes in turnkey product design, manufacture and distribution. With its state-of-the-art 62,000-square-foot, climate- and process-controlled molding facilty, Engineered Plastics utilizes the latest technology in robotics and automation for maximum productivity. The company also maintains a packaging and assembly division in Erie, Pa., which is a newly constructed 60,000-square-foot building that operates as a stand-alone division. Engineered Plastics focuses its production for medical and electrical original equipment manufacturers, as well as sporting goods and multiple other consumer products.
