I have been seeing Dr. Beardsly for about a year. He has helped me more than most of my medical doctors. Since seeing him, my restless leg syndrome has almost disappeared, my leg swelling is almost non-existent and I have lost 40 lbs. I was finally able to have both knees replaced (which I had been trying to get done for 11 years). I don't believe I could have done this without acupuncture. I can not say enough about this place and Dr. Chip. First, he and his staff are some of the best people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I work in the medical field and frequently work beside doctors, nurses, and administrators. The staff here are hands down the most friendly and helpful I have ever seen. I started as a patient at Ancient Art of healing in 2016. At the time I suffered from chronic back pain as a result of injuries and surgeries I had while serving in the military. I took several narcotics to get through the pain every day. I walked slumped over and had to use a cane to walk around.

I came to Ancient Art of Healing because I had been diagnosed with ovarian cysts. One was complicated and I wanted to avoid surgery, if possible. I had two months before a follow up ultrasound to see if the cysts had changed. I visited the practice for those eight weeks and I'm happy to say that both of the cysts had shrunk and I did not have to have surgery. I can't recommend them more! I was in a car accident on 3/28/2015. I went through all of the hoops of standardized medicine (multiple appointments, prescriptions, podiatrist, months of physical therapy, ice/heat packs), none of it worked. I was in such pain I couldn’t turn my head, walk correctly, go up/down stairs, mow yard, push my grandchildren on a swing, or hold my youngest grandchild without being in pain. I have had severe scoliosis spinal curvature since birth and Dr. Chip is the first doctor who could remove my pain. It took several treatments but it is definitely worth it. I actually think my next xray will show improvement in spinal curvature but even it does not I am not in pain.

Like many people from the West, I debunked Acupuncture as SCI-FI. Stupid me! After several surgeries and disappointments I was referred to Dr. Beardsley. The rest is history and I wish I had been more adventurous with my medical options in the past. Doctor Beardsley likes to be called Chip. He has that Dr. Marcus Welby, MD "attitude" that folks feel good about.
