General Info
A Florida State Park located in Central Florida at the foot of the Green Swamp. The purpose of the park is to provide opportunities for outdoor recreation. The habitat is mostly pine flatwoods, cypress domes and wetlands. The park has more than 12 miles of multipurpose trails that can be used for hiking, horseback riding and bicycling. The park has three lakes, which can be used for fishing and canoeing/kayaking; canoes and kayaks are available to rent. The park's largest lake is 26 acres and includes a pier that extends 75 feet into the lake. The park has pavilions that are available on a first-come first-served basis or by reservation; one large screened-in pavilion and three open-air pavilions. The Park has a 30 campsite full-facility campground for motorhomes and tent-style camping. The park has a 20 campsite primitive equestrian-only. The park has a primitive group campground for organized groups only. The park has two primitive hike-in sites.
