0We have used Ville Painter for two jobs with our home: one inside, one outside. We were extremely pleased in both instances. The painters were courteous, friendly and very professional. They were happy to explain the details of the jobs and offer tips for upkeep of rooms and exterior of the house. The price for each job was extremely fair and competitive. The process of obtaining an estimate was very low key. We felt very comfortable asking questions about the process and working with Steve, the owner, for keeping costs down and having quality work. From set-up to clean-up we were impressed with the detail given to our job and the quality of work done. The next time we have a painting project we will call Ville Painters. We highly recommend this business.
Ville Painters did an excellent job from first point of contact to the last deck stain brush stroke. Very reliable an easy to do business with! We have a 2 level deck with an overhang and they were done in a little over a half day. The deck looks beautiful, by far the best job done on this deck! They came back a few days later a put a clear coat of Bemjamin Moore stain on to help keep it lasting longer. I highly recommend Steve and his crew!
Ville Painters did an excellent job for us time and time again. We've used them for several big projects in our home, and have always received friendly, prompt service and quality work. The owner is friendly, and communicates the entire process with you throughout, so you always feel like there is a contact in case there are questions. We would definitely use them again. Doesn't stick to quote. Offers "discount" on already jacked up price. Comes back wanting more money for stuff "not included in quote".
Ville Painters, Inc.– June 03, 2011 at 12:29:19 PDT It seldom happens, but sometimes a person will hire us to paint without reading the proposal. This causes problems for us and the client. We try to be very specific and detailed with our proposals so people know exactly what to expect. If there are additional charges, it is for things outside the original scope of work. We typically use a change order form but sometimes will proceed on their verbal request. Jacking up the cost to cover a discount is a baseless claim and has no merit.

The owner added extra charges to the bill once the job was done despite having given a fixed price contract. Also, any discount offered is not a discount as the price given is just jacked up to cover any "discount". Some of the painters are better than others. But it is the business practices that are the real problem.
