- Dental ExaminationDuring a dental exam, Dr. Stark will also ask about any health problems you have or medications you're taking and discuss how they might affect your oral health. If you have diabetes, for example, you're at increased risk of gum disease. Any medication that contributes to dry mouth can increase your risk of tooth decay. If arthritis interferes with your ability to effectively brush your teeth, Dr. Stark or hygienist might show you how to insert the handle of your toothbrush into a rubber ball for easier use — or recommend a powered or electric toothbrush.
- X-raysExposure to all sources of radiation -- including the sun, minerals in the soil, appliances in your home and dental X-rays can damage the body's tissues and cells and lead to the development of cancer. Fortunately, the dose of radiation you are exposed to during the taking of X-rays is extremely small.
- Oral Cancer ScreeningOral cancer screening is done with the aim of detecting cancer before a person displays symptoms. For this reason, in the interest of our patients, we routinely do oral cancer screening with visits to our practice. Early diagnosis is optimal with oral cancer because the stage of the disease is directly related to the chances of one’s survival. When abnormal tissue or cancer is found early it may be easier to treat and could prevent cancer fatalities. At the stage when symptoms are already being experienced, cancer may have already started spreading.

- Fluoride Treatment
- Dental SealantsPreventative care is very important when it comes to children. At our practice we use top quality dental sealant technology to protect your child’s teeth. Dental sealants are bonded to the chewing surface of the child’s back teeth, as these teeth are usually prone to decay.
- Fillings
- Resin CompositeOnce you and your doctor have agreed on a filling, decay in the tooth will first be removed either by drilling or using laser therapy. If drilling is going to be done, you will be given a local anesthesia to numb the area first. With laser therapy anesthesia will generally not be necessary, but some dentists might give topical anesthesia before starting work on the decayed tooth. When the decay has been removed, the affected area will be cleaned and then filled and restored with materials such as tooth-colored fillings (called composite resin), porcelain, amalgam (an alloy of silver, copper, mercury and tin) or gold. Spaces where bacteria can enter, will also be closed off to prevent further decay.
- VeneersVeneers (also sometimes called porcelain veneers or dental porcelain laminates) are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials that are designed to cover the front surface of teeth. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth.
- CrownsCEREC is advanced dentistry technology that was first used in 1985; it utilizes CAD/CAM as part of the tooth restoration design process. It is a single machine that consists of a computer, camera and a miller. It enables dentists like Dr. Stark who are experienced with the technology to obtain a 3-D digital image of a tooth, as well as what the filling/crown should look like, send the image to the CEREC mill and have it made on Enhance Dental's premises. This amazing process allows our patients to walk out with, for example, a crown all in one visit!
- BridgesDental bridges restore smiles by filling up gaps in the mouth! When gaps are filled quickly, the existing teeth will also not move out of position or take more strain than they would if all teeth were present and facial features will be maintained. Bridges also assist patients to eat more easily and speak more clearly.
- Dental BondingDental bonding is a procedure in which a tooth-colored resin material (a durable plastic material) is applied to the tooth surface and hardened with a special light, which ultimately "bonds" the material to the tooth.
- Root Canal TreatmentA tooth will for example have to be removed if it is badly broken or cracked, or is completely decayed. Teeth that can’t be saved with a root canal or that have become very lose and damaged due to advanced gum disease, might also warrant extraction. Teeth that are very badly aligned and cause continuous irritation in the mouth, or that have minimal or no function, or could put a patient at risk for gum disease because they are in an area of the mouth that makes cleaning difficult, might also be candidates for removal. A tooth (or some teeth) might sometimes also have to be taken out for orthodontic treatment like alignment, when space needs to be made for effective orthodontic purposes. The patient’s budget for repairs also plays a role at times.
- Deep CleaningThey were very helpful, friendly, professional the dental hygienist took a really good care of me I had a deep cleaning done, I was very comfortable no pain at all,I had a great experience with all of them, I would recommend Enhance Dental.
- DenturesDentures are custom-made, false or fake teeth that replace a few or all of an individual’s original teeth. They are designed to fit comfortably over the gums to substitute missing teeth. They can also be used to close gaps between teeth as a preventative measure for possible dental problems later. Complete dentures are removable and partial dentures are normally fixed or permanent.
- Dental ImplantsWith dental implants, there are several advantages. Nothing in your mouth will look or feel artificial, so you will have a beautiful, natural-looking smile! Eating is totally comfortable and you don’t have to avoid any food types, so you will enjoy much better quality of life. Dental implants also do not impact on your speech and they can be cleaned in the same way that you clean the rest of your teeth.
- Oral Surgery
- Tooth ExtractionsChildren can become fearful of dentists if parents wait until a dental problem arises before the child is taken for a dental examination. The reason for this is that drilling or tooth extractions might have to be done during the very first visit then, risking the child becoming fearful of future visits to the dentist.
- Bone GraftingThe All-on-4 (AO4) dental implant technique provides our patients with a full arch of missing teeth, doing only 4 dental implants. These dental implants then support a bridge or fixed/permanent dentures. The incredible thing is that it can all be done during one visit! AO4 implants are suitable for those with no natural teeth left or those who would prefer their existing ones replaced for esthetic reasons, durability and improved functionality. AO4 will provide those who opt for the treatment with comfort, normal bite and the same appearance as permanent dentures. It eliminates the need for procedures like sinus augmentation, bone grafting and other such invasive procedures. The ‘crown’, so to speak, is that it also restores facial features, giving you a facelift as it fixes facial muscle tone – making your smile look 20 years younger – and it will last a lifetime!
- Invisalign OrthodonticsIt was great. I love my smile now. My Invisalign was amazing and did the job. I am one happy smiling customer.
- BracesAs a rule mouth guards will only cover your upper teeth. However, if you wear braces or have a fixed dental appliance on your lower jaw, Dr. Stark may recommend a mouth guard to protect your lower teeth as well.
- Teeth WhiteningAll toothpastes help remove surface stains through the action of mild abrasives. Some whitening toothpastes contain gentle polishing or chemical agents that provide additional stain removal. Whitening toothpastes can help remove surface stains only and do not contain bleach; over-the-counter and professional whitening products contain hydrogen peroxide (a bleaching substance) that helps remove stains on the tooth surface as well as stains deep in the tooth. None of the home use whitening toothpastes can come even close to producing the bleaching effect you get from your dentist's office through chair-side bleaching or power bleaching. Whitening toothpastes can lighten your tooth's color by about one shade. In contrast, light-activated whitening conducted in your dentist's office can make your teeth three to eight shades lighter.
