      General Info
      Located in Latham, N.Y., the Colonie Highway Division is a part of the Department of Public Works. The division is responsible for maintaining town-owned roads. It provides snow removal and ice control, road paving, sidewalk maintenance, roadway marking, tree and brush cutting, drainage system maintenance, and sanding and plowing services. It provides disposal services of nondomestic dead animals. It offers screened millings and crushed rubble. The division also offers dumpster to residential homeowners for disposal purposes. It is responsible for collecting holiday trees and offers a range of paving programs.
