I cannot say enough nice things about this amazing veterinary practice. We had adopted a 3-year-old Lhasapoo named Pepper and brought her to Capitaland for her whole life. Not only did we receive the most amazing medical care, but the wonderful staff and extremely professional follow-through made our visits a joy. In August, unfortunately, at the age of 14, and with many final health issues, we had to put Pepper down. It is this moment that Capitaland staff and doctors were at their best. They were so kind and considerate of both our pet and, especially, of our whole family, that the very difficult process was conducted with the utmost dignity for us and for Pepper.I can say that after several months we were able to purchase a new Wheaten Terrier puppy and were happy to return to our favorite vets. We were treated like returning family. The whole staff is amazing. In addition to Dr K and Dr Z, I would like to note the wonderful Sheila, Christine, Demeer, and Erica. Not only for the best medical care, but also, for a place that treats its clients with such care, I could not recommend Capitaland highly enough!!! Definitely a jewel in the capital region.

Capitaland Animal Hospital has taken care of our four-legged family members for nearly 20 years. Dr. Karzenski and Dr. Zaber and the whole team there are knowledgeable, patient and caring. We adopted our Saint Bernard from a shelter in 2012. She was estimated to be nine years old, and had numerous health issues. The doctors helped us successfully address the health problems she came to us with, including skin infections, joint issues and difficult behaviors. She became a healthy senior dog, thanks to the doctor's excellent care. As she aged, she developed arthritis and cataracts. The doctors and staff at Capitaland treated her expertly and guided us so she could live happily and comfortably with us until 2016. When it came time to say goodbye, Dr. Karzenski and the staff were there for us with great compassion and kindness. I highly recommend this veterinary practice. They have taken wonderful care of our family pets.

My dogs are currently 13 (almost 14) and deaf, 11, and 9 - 12 months. Been going here for years. They ALWAYS make themselves available for my pets and take wonderful care of them. They are very careful with Daisy as she is prone to falling over due to bad joints. They recommended medicine for both Daisy and Sadie for their bad joints and it works wonders. They are great with my new, barky, jumpy puppy. Cannot say enough good things. One day when both my girls were sick (no puppy yet) I just randomly showed up crying to ask some questions. They welcomed me with open arms and tissues. They also always call back, call to check in after visits, etc.

Good service, will make every effort to get you in if you have an emergency. They do however have a tendency to not return calls in a prompt manner.
