OPD specializes in optical design and OEM optical assemblies, which can be the single source for optical design and custom lens needs. The company uses sophisticated optical design CAD tools to design lenses that meet specifications and have tolerances that meet cost targets. It has a broad experience base that includes such lenses as head-mounted displays, projection lenses, UV laser systems, laser communication systems, scan lenses, endoscopes, microscopes, telecentric lenses, zoom lenses and plastic optical systems. The company s offices and manufacturing facilities are in Lexington, Mass.
