      Founded in 1898, Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international nonprofit organization that provides charitable services for the eradication of various diseases. The organization s list of past members includes Theodore R. Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Warren G. Harding, Harry S. Truman, John F. Kennedy, Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. Fraternal Order of Eagles has a membership of more than 1 million with over 3,000 men s and women s groups in the United States and Canada. It conducts fundraisers for several charities associated with diseases of the kidney and heart, as well as diabetes and cancer. The organization also coordinates fundraisers for a children s fund, memorial foundation and the Golden Eagle Fund.
