Old World AquaFarm™ has developed and tested a universal hydrophilic biological filtration natural food growing system for your family. We are growing 500 tomato plants in the area of two sheets of plywood. As a matter of fact some of the tomato plants are 16 months old and still producing! Old World AquaFarm™ is not trying to directly compete with Aquaculture, Hydroponic, or Aquaponic industries. We are enhancing the growing systems these industries utilize. Our products can be incorporated into the aforementioned industry systems. Yes we are designing growing equipment which is durable, cheaper, and promotes add-on product capabilities. Old world AquaFarm™ also grows aquatic animals. We are currently growing over 800 catfish in our 2400 gallon prototype tank. The water from the prototype tank is the same water our plants are grown in. We are always testing something new to grow. We have tested crawfish, crabs, shrimp, minnows, White Bass, Black bass, perch, and crappie. We use the same soil and water over and over again.
