We hired Lodi Tile Works to do grout repair throughout our home: floors in several rooms, kitchen counters, tub and shower enclosures, and tile vanities. We were very disappointed with the work and the service. Jose came to our house for a quote and never got back to us. We called several times to find out what the job would cost and when we could schedule, and finally, after a couple of weeks, we were quoted $600 and scheduled a date for the work. When that day came, the installer arrived about an hour late and said he was there not to do the job but to re-do the quote, because Jose had not given him anything in writing and he had no idea what was to be done. So we went through the whole process again of explaining what we wanted done and where. He took notes, which Jose had not done, and said he'd get back to us. Again, we had to call to get a response. We finally scheduled the work, and the installer came back with a written quote of $600 and started the job. When he was about halfway done, we got a phone call from Jose, who said the job would cost $30 more than quoted, because they were unable to use the grout we had and had to buy materials. It seems to me that if a quote is to be increased, that should happen before the work begins, not once it's in progress. The installer's work was very sloppy, and his clean-up was slapdash at best. The repaired areas started to crack and chip within days, and there were many places where the repairs didn't even fill the gaps. Perhaps they take better care of customers with bigger jobs, but I definitely would not recommend them for grout repairs.

We had our bathroom shower, kitchen and entry floors done by the guys at Lodi Tile Works and we are very pleased. They did a beautiful job! They were very helpful with the process. We definitely recommend their services.
