Oakwood Academy's accelerated academic program was designed to provide highly motivating learning activities in Long Beach, CA. This accelerated academic program was founded in 1960 and designed to provide highly motivating learning activities for children at each level of ability and development. Students are guided in this individualized program by qualified, caring teachers. Each child is provided an opportunity for optimum development academically, socially, and emotionally. A variety of activities are presented throughout the daily program offering hands on experience in science, language, reading, math, and computers.
