Let me start by saying; I have never ranked a business 5 out of 5 before, but this place is AMAZING. I took my Labrador Retriever to VIP for several days before Christmas this year, 2012, and was absolutely thrilled with the care they provide. At first I was a little bit nervous, the building looked like a bomb shelter... As it turns out, it's actually a renovated chicken coop. On our first visit we were greeted quickly and taken for a tour of the entire facility, no questions asked. We made our reservation, (to the tune of $50 as it was over a major holiday) and returned the following Sunday to drop off our dog. The young woman who greeted us and received our dog was bright and reassuring. Our vacation went well, thanks for asking, and we returned to pick up 4 days later, Our pup had been cared for, bathed and socialized. They even had a picture of him in the file! He came home exhausted, calm and healthy. Couldn't ask for more, nor will we frequent any other local kennels.

We would not trust our dogs to anyone else. They are like family there, and treat our dogs as such. Our pups love to go there, to play with their friends...a change of pace from their everyday routine. When we get a vacation, they do too!

I wasn't expecting this place to be as nice as it was, honestly. It took me almost 30 minutes to get there from Ashburn but it was worth the trip. My dogs were there for Thanksgiving and not only did they come home clean and happy, but the boarding for the two of them for 5 days didn't actually cost an arm and a leg. I will not be boarding my dogs anywhere other than VIP from now on. Also, on a side-note, a receptionist there mentioned that they were caring for several dogs from the Loudoun County Animal Shelter. Seems to me that if they're the kennel of choice for our local animal control then they must be the best around.

I've only been living in the area a short time, but let me tell you, this place is great. I review most new services/businesses that I use on SuperPages and almost never give out 5-star ratings; VIP Boarding is 5-star for sure. They took my puppy on short notice and now he's a boarding regular and even goes to their daycare sometimes. He comes home exhausted and drags me back in the next time. He even knows when we're a few miles away in the car and he gets as excited as I ever see him. What more could you ask for?

VIP Boarding Kennel is a real gem! Their staff, from reception, all the way to the kennel workers, were all kind and treated us like we were family, and we had never even been there before! The first stay was a bit hectic, we had a death in the family, and VIP immediately accomodated us (we even got a little lost on the way but the young man working in reception took the time to locate our vet records AND patiently talk to us as we got ourselves back on the right track). Even though they were obviously busy they were happy to take us for a tour of the facility... Very organized, impressively clean and overall we just knew; this was the right place for our little "crazies." We've been other places with other dogs and pets but, in us, VIP has a lifelong customer. Thank you for caring so much!

I dont recimmend VIP boarding. I left my little puppy, (7 months). We went out of the country and constantly email them to see how she was doing. They always said that she was fine. When we picked her we asked them if how she was and they said she was fine. We notice her tired so we thought it was because ahe played a lot. The next day she was coughing and coughing, not active, very tire. We went to the vet and she told old that my puppy has kennel cough. I understand that dogs can get sick. What i cannont understand is that we cibstantly asked them about my puppy and they said thay she was fine. That makes me angry because they didnt care about her. They should have taken her to the vet inmediatly if she was sick. They dont care about the dogs. After that my puppy still have some problems. Be very careful. I dont recommmend them.

This place is AWE-SOME. My husband and I boarded our dogs for the first time over Spring Break of 2011. When we dropped off we were in a hurry but when we got back for our dogs we got a chance to look around the place. SO clean, SUCH helpful and friendly staff. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we got to see where our dogs had been and we even got to watch the dogs run for "an out." The dogs look like they have the MOST fun and they get to play like actual dogs! You wouldn't believe it if I told you, my dogs were clean, loved, treated well and we could really tell. Other places have just never impressed us like this. We were slightly skeptical, but the 30 minute drive was worth every second. THANK YOU VIP BOARDING KENNEL. You are the best around and the ONLY place we will recommend to our friends.

VIP Boarding Kennel is the best! I have two very active dogs, and they board at VIP on a regular basis and occasionally participate in doggie daycare as well. The staff at VIP are always friendly and seem to take a personal interest in each dog, and family for that matter. I know that I'm greeted with a smile; and my dogs are almost always greeted with a hug and known immediately by their first names! For me, their level of personalized familiarity and friendliness would be enough. However, combined with the convenience pickup and delivery, as well as multiple other options for my pups, I would say that VIP Boarding Kennel is peerless in the Loudoun County and, quite possibly, in the entire Washington D.C. metropolitan area. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!

I've brought both my dogs to VIP and have been absolutely thrilled with thier care each every time! I have one very active dog who has both boarded overnight and gone in for daycare along with a very elderly dog who has boarded there. I felt that both had an experience that was tailored to thier specific needs and activity levels which is great! The active dog is always exhausted from playing all day (ALWAYS a good thing for him). He obviously was playing all day! After a 5 night stay my elderly dog had a newfound youthfulness! He has back hip/leg muscle deterioration that clearly had been alleviated some by a good amount of exercise and play. If he doesn't get enough activity, his legs start to stiffen up and hurt him and that was clearly not the case during his stay at VIP. He was way more active and happy it seemed for even a few days following his stay at VIP. The staff at VIP were very helpful in terms of making sure I felt comfortable leaving both dogs there and even didn't min

I've taken both my Dogs to VIP since 2009, and I am still happy with the service. I loved the place so much, I brought my special needs dog there when I went away. I TRUST NOBODY with my poor abused dog, EXCEPT THEM. Any other post that says otherwise is ignorant. My dog needs constant love and help, and the staff at VIP was there to give him that. Love you guys! Don't let a negative post dampen your great love for animals! YOU ARE APPRICIATED! : )

The BEST kennel around hands down! Very clean, excellent staff, and my dog came home tired and happy. What can I really say? I trust VIP Boarding and only VIP Boarding with my dogs! Highly recommend to anyone in the Leesburg/ Western Loudoun area :)
