If you enjoy Tejano wrap (the night we were there, 06/26/2010, we were fortunate enough to have a live DJ yelling several F-bombs over the loud speaker so our children could have a cultural educational experience) car horns, motorcycles and four wheelers blasting by your tent and random screaming until 2:30 AM, Buffalo Springs Lake is for you. We called the front office at 11:00PM to see if anything could be done about the blaring music and a lady stated patrons are supposed to turn their music off at 11 but they usually go much later (I guess they've kinda given up on trying to enforce rules). The grounds were actually prettier than I remembered but it had been about 35 years since I had been there and it will be longer before I return. P.H.
