Lynwood Middle School offers education to more than 2,000 students in grades seven through eight. It is a public school affiliated with the Lynwood Unified School District. Its curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as English, science, social studies, mathematics, computers, language arts, and health and physical education. The school also offers foreign languages and technical education to students. It has a library and media center that provides books, journals, magazines and Internet access to students. The school also has a parent-teacher organization that assists in fundraising activities and programs, and provides library and classroom assistance.
