Current resident 2017-2018 at 614 Langdon #706

First time signing the lease, it was SUPER ANNOYING because of Sarah. It took us a whole month because every time we submit our lease, Sarah will always find something wrong with it such as a little pen mark or mark up on the lease.

The penthouse #706 is nice -- large bedrooms, living room, the two bathrooms, and balcony on the top floor. However, I wish the kitchen provide more counter space and storage.

I believe this is a poor management. We were charged every time something happens with our disposal, like picking a fork up.... which they only came for 5 mins..... We also have 15 centipedes for the Fall semester.... the guy came with a spray... The management is not very open minded to residents' insight. For example, if you get locked out without the roommates in Madison, you'll be doom. Sarah always answers your email but she doesn't have much knowledge. I will never be back for this management. Go to Rouse Management in college park -- way better in everything.

Thank you for your feedback Jieqi. We sincerely apologize that your experience renting with us has not been satisfactory. We are not sure what you meant by having a difficult time with the lease signing. You and your roommates signed at the office and we don’t make tenants or parents redo paperwork unless they cross something out. We are generally known for our tenants having great experiences with our maintenance crew. We set high standards for our company and we’re very sorry if we didn’t live up to your expectations. If there is a tenant charge, it is because the tenant did something to require the repair – in this case a fork in the disposal. Looking back at the maintenance records for your unit, there have been several times foreign objects have needed removal from the garbage disposal. Only food should be put into the garbage disposal because foreign objects are likely to break the device or stop it from functioning properly. I apologize for the centipede issue you had to deal with. Our records show that management and maintenance were on top of the issue and responsive. We hired Pro Pest to come and spray the entire 7th floor. There weren’t centipedes in all of the units on the 7th floor but we decided to spray everything to be preventative. We’re not really sure what you mean by being doomed if your roommates are not in the Madison area when you get locked out. In that instance tenants need to come and buy a replacement key from the office or see if maintenance can let them into their building. We provide an emergency maintenance number if something happens outside of normal office hours. We looked back at your email correspondence with Sarah and everything she has said has been true to our company policy. We’re sorry you did not agree with or like our answers to some of your questions. Again, we apologize that you did not have the best renting experience with us.
