Do great work at a reasonable price!

can't give this company any stars to recommend them. They've redone the electric in a house we bought. The house was knob & tube. It appears that Mattoon Electric didn't even check their work because in order for us to turn on our living and dining room lights, we have to turn on the basement light too. They have said they'd be out to fix that. That was 2 weeks ago. And maybe they still plan to fix the problem but the company doesn't keep in touch to inform WHEN they will be there. While they were working on our house, the guys disappeared for over a week with no word when they would be back. We didn't mind them leaving the job but some contact would have been nice. And Mattoon Electric has been paid in full for the work they did on our house.
