A few weeks ago I was washing laundry when one washer wouldn't start. I moved the load to another washer, figuring the attendant would be in sometime and I could get a refund. That washer didn't spin out completely so I was left with a load of very wet clothes. It took two dryers and double time to dry the one load. I got $1.50 refund for the washer that didn't start. I thought, "Ok every thing can have an off day."
So I was doing laundry again today. Another washer didn't start. I called the Modern Laundry service which is right next door. The woman said she could give me the phone number of the maintenance guy and I could call him. "What? Excuse me???" It shouldn't be my place to call him. Its their place of business and keeping the customer satisfied should be number one. Its is both places I work serving the public! I think I will check out the laundry service on US68 to use for my laundry needs from now on.
