I was a long time customer until I had an independent oil burner tech service the system that Medway Oil installed. I was informed that my burner had an oversized oil spray nozzle on it, which was causing me to burn much more oil than I needed to. This service tech informed me that it was standard practice for Medway Oil to install large spray nozzles on their customers oil burners during routine maintenance. This company should be investigated by the AG,s office.

Medway Oil has been my oil provider and service company for the past 3 years. The only way I measure an oil company is by their service. On a very cold january night my burner decided to stop working. I called Medway Oil's 800 number at 9 pm and a real person answered the phone! I explained my situation and within the hour a Medway Oil serviceman arrived and had my heat back within an hour. That is how an oil provider should take care of their customer.

Medway provides great service and high quality. been a customer for 15 years and they have always responded.

Was a customer for two years and can assure you that the service is terrible and the pricing is expensive.

Beware of this company. They offer free one time service to new customers then they send you a service bill and couple of weeks later. They charge you $100 dollars for the locked price fee that other companies offer for free.

At 9:15 p.m. on a Friday night, I attempted to turn on my stove to make dinner. It didn't light; we were out of propane. We were on the automatic refill plan, and although we had been receiving our oil deliveries, MOC had apparently not been refilling our propane. I called them and left a message with their answering service. Jeff, the owner, told me it would be a $70 fee to have propane delivered tonight, or I would have to wait until morning. He said his drivers don't check the propane levels - that it was my "problem". We're upset with his attitude and unprofessionalism - and the fact that we thought we were paying for an automatic service - but now it's our problem. Needless to say, we're CANCELLING OUR SERVICE and WILL NOT RECOMMEND MEDWAY OIL COMPANY TO ANYBODY. Just to make matters worse, this happened on my spouse's birthday.

The company said I needed around $1,800 in work done to make my heating system safe. I got a second and a third opinion from other local heating oil companies, and neither of those companies indicated there was anything wrong with my heating system. In my opinion, Medway Oil Co. tried to rip me off by scaring me into thinking my heating system was unsafe. THINK TWICE BEFORE DECIDING TO GO WITH MEDWAY OIL CO.!!!!!!

AVOID THIS COMPANY - I Contacted Medway Oil Co. (MOC) to inspect my heating system and for a quote on oil, and the company informed me I needed $2K in work done. I contacted two other companies to inspect my heating system; neither of which found the issues MOC said would cost $2K to fix. Naturally, I decided not to use MOC. I then received an email from MOC stating: "Since you are not using Medway Oil as a fuel oil supplier and have our propane tank on your property you are now subject to a $90.00 per year low usage fee. If you had used us for fuel oil we waive that fee. The office will mail you a bill for that amount. If you do not wish to pay this fee then please call the office to have the tank removed." Just two weeks later, MOC removed thealmost full propane tank; without ever sending a bill or the courtesy of a telephone call. It cost nearly $400 to have a new tank delivered and installed, and I was unable to cook or do laundry for 2 weeks which included X-Mas and New Years.

Medway Oil came to my aid when I was left cold when another company ran out of heating oil. The owner of Medway Oil delivered oil right away, came to my home and inspected my system, and after he found out I was new to the area, sent me coupons for other local businesses. Service was extraordinarily professional & helpful...the kind of service you just can't find anymore! I have been with them over a year now and can't recommend them enough for reliability & service.
