CrossRoads Community United Church of Christ
General Info
CrossRoads is a growing, diverse faith community of different ages, backgrounds, economic levels, education and more. Our motto at CrossRoads comes from our denomination, The United Church of Christ and it reads: "Whoever you are and wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome here." There isn't just one kind of CrossRoads person because we want to welcome everyone. At our 9am service, our CrossRoads Praise Band offers a mixture of contemporary Christian music with occasional jazz and soft rock. At our 10:30 am service, our adult choir presents an anthem each week and also leads the congregation in singing traditional Christian hymns. We offer a fantastic children's ministry called KIDVENTURE. This ministry is offered for children ages four years old through fifth grade. Our Nursery/Toddler room is also available during both services for children under age four. A quiet room is located by the sanctuary entrance for you to stay with your child while still being able to view and hear the service. We offer Communion on the first Sunday of each month--everyone is welcome!

Provided by YP.comI love this church! I didn't attend church for most of my adult life until I tried this one. When the minister said, "Whoever you are, wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome here." I really felt she was talking to me.
I feel welcomed every time I attend. They have a great band at the 9am Sunday service playing contemporary Christian rock. Communion is served the first Sunday of every month and everyone is welcome to partake. The church hosts a number of recovery groups. They sponsor a kick-but Rummage Sale twice a year. Numerous opportunities to serve the community are available through CrossRoads Mission Board. The United Church of Christ is a progressive denomination which I think reflects how Christ would view the world of today; the UCC has a slogan, "God is still speaking," I hear what is being said when I attend CrossRoads.
