I' be eaten in sushi bar for years and found it to be very nice place to dine
The wait staff and manager at the Merrillville location are horrible. Very Rude! The experience is not how everyone describes it and you will be rushed in and out of the restaurant. Our party was still eating when the MANAGER brought us a styrofoam container for our take home portions. We just started eating as the chef who prepared the food left our table. OK, so that is definitely a sign that the $250.00 the restaurant was making from us was not important. I sincerely believe that when any type of business charges high prices for their services that I better be treated with respect. Don't believe what others are saying about how neat of an experience you will have. I can give you a list of multiple other restaurants to dine at instead. The chef who cooked the food in front of us dropped the utensils SEVERAL times. Overall, this by far was the WORST dining experience of my life. And I left the restaurant very upset and disappointed.
The service is delightful and entertaining. I would like for the food to better seasoned and the portions to be larger, but the atmosphere is great and food is good.
