Christ the King High School is a private school serving students in grades nine through 12. the school offers courses in arts, business and computer science, English, foreign language, math, music, physical education, religion, science and social studies. It has athletic teams in baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, football, handball, ice hockey, indoor and outdoor track, soccer, cheerleading, swimming, tennis and volleyball. The school s modern fitness center is equipped with the Matrix Fitness System line of equipment. Its continuing education department offers full-time day care, group classes in academic enrichment and private tutoring for students in grades four through 12 on an hourly basis. The school provides various clubs and extracurricular activities, including newspaper, yearbook, ceramics, speech and debate, literary and art magazine and Junior Student Council. Christ the King High School has an enrollment of more than 1,500 students and is located in Middle Village, N.Y.
