Wonderful and kind guys (Earnest and Erdman both!) who really take their job seriously. I am a 4th year podiatry student and after knowing them for the last 5 years and doing a 1 month office clerkship with these guys i can tell you that they are top notch guys. They really care for their patients and take the extra time to ensure a patient is satisfied with their services. They are both very skilled in the operating room and are very meticulous with the end result, which is important considering i have seen other doctors be happy with sloppy work. I would highly recommend anyone to see Dr. Earnest and Dr. Erdman and I believe they are some of the few people in the medical community who work with honesty, integrity, and are empathetic to their patients.

After 29 years of multiple right ankle sprains, this past July 18, 2010 I sprained it yet again. Well, I waited the usual 2 weeks, RICE'd it (rest, ice, compression, elevation) and the knot on top didn't go down & I still had tremendous pain. Well, I saw my 'family's' podiatrist who put me in a calf-style hard brace which I couldn't drive in & told me I would need surgery. So after considering the fact that I'm on Coumadin (a blood thinner) I thought I better get a 2nd opinion. I sought out Dr. Earnest, he was so kind! He took the extra MRI copy I had gotten for him and would review it. Then he immediately sent me to Paul Valentine where his son Shawn fixed me up with a custom brace which after a few adjustments is great! Also, after that 1st visit with him he also Rx'd me for Phys. Ther. and I went to TideWater P.T. not far from my house. WONDERFUL results. I now wear the brace and no surgery for now. Follow-up w Dr. Earnest hopefully this month! Thanks, Doing Great! BT
