Stanislaus Medical Society is a health management system operated by local physicians. Based in Modesto, Calif., the society offers a network of health care providers, utilization and peer review and a state-of-the-art system for claims processing. It also specializes in statistical reporting and centralized accountability for plan administration. Additionally, the group protects the public health as well as promotes the betterment of the medical professionals. Stanislaus Foundation is part of the California Foundation for Medical Care with over 400 hospitals, 27,000 physicians and 5,000 ancillary providers statewide.
