We got my daughter's prom dress here which is beautiful but it needed to be altered and hemmed so we decided to have them do it. Their seamstress did a horrible job and charged an outrageous amount after the owner quoted a lower price. The dress's inner layer is 2 inches shorter then the outer netting layer which both owner's said is standard. NO it is not. We told them we did not want to see my daughter's shoes and you certainly can now. Again the owners both said "You can't see her shoes." YES you can. They tried to make us feel better by giving us a garter which they said is worth $30. ?????? It's PROM, not a wedding. Long story short.....DO NOT get your alterations done at Mahin's.

Mahin has helped my daughter with 2 prom dresses. We had a wonderful experience and love the dresses and accessories that we purchased. Wonderful selection,one on one service and makes you feel wonderful not like a number. Very helpful with what styles will look good and what accessories to go with. I had an amazing experience at Mahin's Bridal. Not having an idea what kind of dress I wanted, Mahin asked me about me tastes, what I was envisioning for the wedding, etc and after looking at my shape and size she had a selection of dresses for me to try. Her 1st recommendation, was the dress I fell in love with. She was great to work with and very personable. We ended up getting our bridesmaids dresses and the mother's dress from Mahin's as well. I cannot recommend her services enough.

DO NOT GO HERE! I am VERY dissatisfied with Mahin's. We drove up around an hour to get there and we were satisfied with the service and dresses and ordered one for my mother. It came in early so we drove back up and very excited and found out when she put it on that it was too SMALL. Then she proceeded to tell my mother that my mom picked the size and said she was going to work on her weight. That the Owner is only there to measure people and they do not pick the size. Then the Owners husband came out and started to say how women can gain weight quick!!! Really are you kidding me! In less than 2 months my mom gained 6 inches in her waist and 3 in her chest. She remeasured my mother and each time looked down at the next size and told me that she has been doing this for 19 years and she knows what she is doing. Not that hard to move a tape measure. They took no responsibility and then said they could take it back for a 25% restocking fee. That would have been around $150. We already spent over $600. They were very disrespectful after that. It was the point when she told us it was our fault that I lost it. That she doesnt have anything with ordering or picking out the size. What are they good for then? So disappointed in them. DO NOT GO HERE!
