I am very disgusted with this tv repair company ,I bought a Sonyo 42" flat screen tv off line and was told from the guy I bought it from what part it needed and could purchase off line ,I only paid 50.00 for this tv ,took it to Cellar Electronics for service and told he guy what was wrong and all we needed was for him to order is the part ,which was the mother board ,I couldn't order online as Sonyo said it could only be ordered from a tv repair ,in turn left a

50.00 deposit and called and left many messages with no return calls .After emailing him with rude remarks back from emails I sent ,and mind you I was never mean always concerned about the tv and what was going on and I get rude email of "PLEASE.......LET US DO OUR JOB!!! " After that I left them alone and we went and picked up tv and he said he ran a diagnosis test,he then told us that it was the mother board ,,that's what we already knew , and said it would cost 175 bucks to repair!! Wow ,I never would think he would want to change this much for a small part ,needless to say ,we just asked for my tv back and he charged me 45.00 of the 50.00 I gave him to tell me something I already knew what the tv needed !! Very disappointed and I will never recommend anyone to use the tv repair shop !!! Thanks for something I already knew what was wrong with it in the 1 st place

We sent in a JVC receiver to be repaired on 9/10/2009. It arrived at their place of business on 9/13. Called for status on 10/27 - left message, received no call back. We called again on 11/2 - according to them, they were waiting on help from JVC factory. We called again on 11/10 - they agreed it had "major problems", JVC recommended that they ship it to factory for repair. They said they'd ship it within a day or two, which they did not. We then called JVC HQ in NJ to see what they could do. We called Cellar Electronics on 11/17 - they promised they'd ship it in that day or the next. 12/2 - called and left message, received no call back. 12/4 - received call from JVC factory - there was nothing wrong with the product, setting/control fix. We received it back on 12/7......NOTHING WAS EVER WRONG WITH IT!!!! Cellar Electronics never called us regarding status at all, not even to let us know that they were shipping it back and that we would have it in a day or two. We are thoroughly disgusted with these jokers and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
